Our Parent /Child Dedication on Mother’s Day was a blessing. We had nine babies born since last Mother’s Day. We were able to show our support, celebration and love to these families. I know you’ll pray for these new children and their parents as they grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

VBS is June 24-28 this year. I hope you’ll consider spending five mornings with the children in KINGDOM ROCK-where kids stand strong for God!  We have many ways for you to be involved: from collecting items to teaching classes to decorating—and we’ll give you all the resources and helps you need. Let me know how you’d like to be involved. VBS takes LOTS of hands and willing hearts! June 2 is Discovery Day for enlisted workers.  Sign up to participate in the training and enjoy a delicious lunch. Child care will be provided for VBS workers who stay for the training.

May 19:  AWANA awards night, Worship Center, 6:00 p.m. (reception  following in café)

May 22:  Children’s Wednesday night programs recognition night, Dining Room, 6:00 p.m.

May 29:  PJ Movie Night, 6:00 p.m. - Three different movies will be shown.

June 2:  VBS Worker Discovery Day, noon (includes lunch so please sign up)

June 8:  Kids’ Fishing Derby, for ages 18 and under; Busch Lake #2,    10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

June 15:  Kids’ Mystery Trip (with dads)

July 4-8:  RA Camp for boys completing 3rd-5th grades and Challenger Camp for boys completing 6th-11th grades, Windermere Baptist Conference Center. $20 deposit due by June 1 for boys planning to attend this camp.  See me if you are interested.
