First of all, Stephanie and I would like to thank you all for your very warm welcome on Sunday. We were genuinely touched by all the words of welcome, and it was wonderful to meet everyone! Right when we walked in the door, several youth came up to us and asked if I was “Kraig with a K,” and welcomed us to the church. I knew right then that this was a very friendly church, and meeting many of you throughout the morning confirmed it! 

I really can’t say enough about how excited I am to be here, and to serve your students. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the staff, and am excited to be working with such a great bunch of people. I’m working very closely with the staff and youth volunteers on planning some exciting upcoming events, which we will let you know about in the coming weeks and months. Please don’t hesitate to contact me any time if you have a question, comment, or just want to introduce yourself! I plan on being in the office during the day at least on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, so give me a call or come by for a visit! We’re having a parent meeting on Sunday, September 12, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. All parents, volunteers, and Youth Council members are welcome to come. This will be a great time for us to get to know each other better, and for me to get your valuable input on some things. 

Thanks again for such a warm and heartfelt welcome! I am truly looking forward to getting to know you all much more over the next few weeks!
