"Mary responded, 'I am the Lord's servant and I am willing to accept whatever He wants. May everything that you have said come true!' And then the angel left." Luke 1:38 (NLT)
God has created all of us for His purpose. He knew before we were born the plans He had for us. He wants to give us His destiny for our lives but we have to decide to accept it. Mary was a Jewish girl of about fifteen years of age who had agreed to be married to a carpenter named Joseph.
She was busy planning her wedding, her future and her dreams when God sent an angel to her. The message of the angel was that God had greater plans for her. She did not understand everything that the angel said to her, but she believed. She trusted that God knew what was better for her. She chose to believe that God could make the impossible happen and He did. What about the impossible things in your life? Will you choose to believe that God can make the impossible happen? If you will, He can.
The holidays are here and we are in full swing at Fee Fee Baptist Church. Many exciting things are happening and we want you to be a part of them. Many people use Thanksgiving as a time to put up the tree and so do we. On Sunday, December 1, we need help at 12:00 noon to carry in our 30-foot Christmas Tree. We will also need help in moving the musical instruments off of the stage. If you can stay around and help us, it would be appreciated.
The 2014 budget is out for your review. Copies are located in the church foyer and parlor. The 2014 budget comes in almost $3,000 lower than the 2013 budget. There will be a question and answer session at 5:00 p.m. on December 1 in the Dining Room. Please attend this important budget discussion. We will vote on the 2014 budget at the morning worship services on December 8. Pick up your copy today and attend the question and answer session.
The presentations of the Singing Christmas Tree will be December 20, 21 and 22. Start inviting your friends and neighbors now before they fill up their holiday schedules.
This time of the year is always busy. Make sure to take some time to enjoy the season of Christmas.
God continues to bless our church in many ways. Come join the excitement and see what He has in store for you.
See you in church,
