Our Purpose
The Purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do, through various ministries and opportunities, influencing and challenging women to grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord. Our goal is to help each woman recognize her own spiritual, emotional, and social needs and to live a godly life. We are Women Of the Word. (WOW)
W.O.W(Women of the Word) small groups are designed to help you learn the Bible and find the answers that apply to your everyday life. Whether you are new to Bible Study or a seasoned student, our interactive studies will help you explore scripture in a way that is relevant and personal.
Homework: We realize that each woman that registers for the Bible study classes already has a very busy schedule with work, home, family, etc. Below each class your will find a level of Easy, Moderate, or Advanced to inform you of the amount of homework required. Each of our classes is designed for you to have two weeks to complete each week of study. The classes will begin with an introduction video and the next week will be the discussion. Each Bible study leader will instruct you on how your study will flow.
Class Registration for Women’s Ministry
2 Ways to Register
- Register in the Parlor on Sunday Mornings beginning July 18th. You may purchase your workbook at this time.
- Register on first day/evening of classes and purchase your workbook at that time.
Class Fees: The fees for each Bible study are listed beneath the study information. Books will be available for those who have pre-registered first. Books will then be available for those registering on the first day of classes on a first-come, first-served basis. After our inventory of workbooks is depleted, you will be provided information regarding how you may purchase your workbook on your own.
Leaders’ Prayer: Prior to each class in the evening and morning the leaders of W.O.W. will be gathering for a time of prayer. We will pray for you as you are preparing to drive to your class each week. We will also pray for the prayer requests. Know that the class leaders are praying for you!
A NEW POLICY THIS YEAR FOR VIDEOS! Because of the need to keep videos together and diminish the possibility for loss, the Women’s Ministry Team encourages all participants to make every possible effort to attend all classes where a video is being viewed. If you happen to miss a video in any of our classes, you will be able to download that particular video from www.lifeway.com/women. Cost for each downloaded video is $5.00

God is faithful– I will carry you. Faithful teaches of the Faithfulness of God and an example of the faithfulness demanded in Hebrews. His provision is abundant. Abundant illustrates God’s ability to redeem even the darkest moments of our lives. His promises are true. True shines biblical light on the need for spiritual and relational discernment in everyday life.
Cost is $13 - Advanced Homework (2 weeks to complete each lesson)

In this study, women will learn to begin a new way of thinking about health through a renewed mind, emotions, body, and spirit. Cost for the required kit is $110.00. You will be asked to purchase your kit prior to the August 15. Kits may be purchased on line or at Lifeway Christian Book Store. You will be able to use the kit for each class of First Place there after.

Midday Lift August 10– November 24
Having a Real Relationship with God This small-group is for people who are interested in learning more about what the Bible says, but who have only limited time to meet together.
About the study: Have you ever wondered if it’s possible to have a meaningful relationship with God? An authentic relationship that works in the day-in-and-day-out circumstances of Life? This study will help you discover for yourself how such a relationship is possible.

Mid-Week Study
ONE in a Million by Priscilla Shirer
August 11 – November 23 (Wednesday on Tuesday)
Every woman is on a journey. And while the road to your promised land may be bumpy, it is worth every mile. In looking carefully at the two Israelites (out of two million) who crossed over the Jordan and into the Promised Land, we find direction for our own spiritual lives. Expect to see God move in miraculous ways in your everyday existence.
Cost is $12 - Moderate Homework - (2 weeks to complete each lesson)

We always welcome new participants to our classes and encourage you to invite a friend, neighbor, or family member to attend with you Childcare is provided for all Sunday and Wednesday Bible study class.

If you are a woman who has been feeling the need to talk to another Christian woman who has “been in your shoes” and with God’s help made it through and wants to support and encourage you as a mentee at this time in your Christian life....

Summer Bible Video Series! Hear and Then, There and Now. A study of Revelation. By Beth Moore This will be an 11 week video series which includes one homework assignment each week. Cost for the Listening Guide is $9.00 More information will be available in the Spring of 2011.
Summer Supper Club - This is an opportunity for the ladies of our church to get away and have a relaxing evening of fun, fellowship, and great food at various restaurants around the St. Louis area. June, July, and August.
