Rev. Wes Owens

Wesley Owens became Minister to Education and Single Adults in May of 2000. Previously, he had served churches in Louisiana, Missouri, and Georgia. He is a native of Tallahassee, Florida. Wesley is a graduate of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans, Louisiana, having received his Masters degree in 1982. He received his undergraduate degree from William Carey College, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in 1978.

Over the years many churches, associations, and other organizations have requested his expertise in ministry for retreats, special events, seminars, training events, and various speaking engagements. He is used as a consultant on the local church, association, state, and national levels.

He is married to Rhonda since 1989 and is the father of two wonderful children, Jacob and Emily. His hobbies include fishing, golf and collecting baseball memorabilia.
