Who is Fee Fee Baptist Church?

The purpose of Fee Fee Baptist Church is to REACH people in our community, to CONNECT them with others, to inspire them to GROW in their faith, to EQUIP them to use their God-given gifts, and to ACKNOWLEDGE God in worship.

GROW - Help Others Grow in Maturity in Christ  We want to help people grow in their devotion to God and in their understanding of His purpose for their lives.  Each person should have the opportunity to develop spiritual maturity, have increasing understanding of God's presence in their life and a growing knowledge of God's Word.  "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; reach and admonish one another in all wisdom..."  Colossians 3:16 "...teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."  Matthew 28:19 

REACH - Help People Come to Christ  We want to reach out to people and introduce them to the Good News of God's grace.  Everyone should know that God loves them and sent His Son to die for them.  The world - and in particular for us our community - must be shown that Christ is relevant to their lives.  Only in Christ can people find true joy, hope and meaning.  "Go and make disciples..."  Matthew 28:19

ACKNOWLEDGE - Help people acknowledge and love God  We want people to recognize and worship God as Savior and Lord of their lives.  God should be worshiped in a heartfelt and genuine way which enables people to have a deepening experience of God's Spirit and a growing relationship with Him.  "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind..."  Matthew 22:37

CONNECT - Help people connect in Unity, Hospitality and Love   We want to help people discover the importance of connecting in meaningful relationships with other members of God's family.  People need community.  They need to feel loved, accepted and a part of something meaningful.  "...as I have loved you, so must you love one another."  John 15:34  "...baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."  Matthew 28:19

EQUIP - Help Equip people for Meaningful Service to Others  We want to help people discover their God-given gifts and use these gifts in service to others.  People have value and life has value.  The entire Christian community is called to serve others.  "...love your neighbor as yourself."  Matthew 22:37

 Core Values of Fee Fee Baptist Church

We value excellence.   We seek to carry out all ministry with excellence.  We do so because excellence honors the nature of God.  As we do ministry with excellence we proclaim to the world the awe and wonder of the Lord.  (Philippians 4:8-9; Colossians 3:15-17) 

We value family.  We live our lives with family relationships in focus.  Since it was the first human institution God created, we seek to give it priority in our lives.  Balance and simplicity gives us the ability to enjoy our families.  We desire to equip men to lead their homes as loving servants.  We will encourage and equip all seasons and facets of family life.  Those seasons include singles, young marrieds to empty nesters, widows & widowers, and single parent families.  (Genesis 1:27-28; Psalm 68:5-6)

We value prayer.  We believe that prayer is essential to an intimate walk with Christ.  We practice prayer as a delight both individually and corporately.  The fruitfulness of our ministry is dependent upon the strength of God released through prayer.  (Matthew 21:13; Philippians 4:6-7; John 15:5)

We value purpose driven ministry.  At the heart of purpose driven ministry is the truth that we were all created for a distinct reason.  "We" meaning our individual lives and our church life.  PD defines what we do, why we do it, and helps us stay balanced in our ministry.  Those five purposes are:

MINISTRY...we were shaped to serve God

WORSHIP...we were planned for God's pleasure

EVANGELISM...we were made for a mission

FELLOWSHIP...we were formed for God's family

And DISCIPLESHIP...we were created to become like Christ.

We value relationships.  There are two main questions of relationships.  Who and How?  Who...we need to have friendships with Christians and non-Christians.  It's in the context of loving relationships that we fellowship with Christians and reach out to non-Christians.  We call this relationship evangelism.  How...we treat all people with honor, compassion, and respect.  We simply treat them the way Christ would...lovingly.  When we're connected to people, only then do we have the opportunity to make an impact for Christ.  (Acts 2:42-47)

We value the Scriptures.  The Bible is the inspired Word of God.  It is without error and therefore completely trustworthy.  It is our final authority and contains all we need for life.  It is God's love letter to us as it reveals His grace extended to us in Christ.  It was given for transformation not just information.  The Bible reveals to us salvation through Jesus Christ.  The basis for all teaching, instruction and discipleship comes from our obedience to the Word of God.  (II Timothy 3:16; Psalm 19:7-11)
