Children's Ministry
The Children’s Ministry is Bible based, Christ-focused and activity oriented. Our Sunday Morning Bible Study classes are age-graded and led by caring and committed volunteers, trained to provide a quality classroom experience. Children have opportunities to enjoy fellowship and mission-action projects that celebrate the unique giftedness of each child. Older children have special curriculum designed for preparing them for the teen years.
Vacation Bible School: In the summer months, we host an exciting summer experience for kids of all ages throughout the St. Louis area. Through games, crafts, music, and group learning, kids are actively involved with their friends and neighbors as we share the love of Jesus Christ with them. This is truly one of the most fun events of the summer! Right now we are still discussing the new theme, but you can see the choices and get the latest details here. Last year's Vacation Bible School was a blast, we explored Outrigger Island. You can look at some of the fun we had in this slide show.
Bible Study @ 9:30 a.m. Every Sunday morning, teachers welcome boys and girls into their classrooms where they provide an atmosphere of acceptance, security, learning and love. Through learning experiences appropriate for each age level, children are guided to a knowledge of God, the Bible and how it all relates to their life situations.
Kids Worship on Sunday @ 10:50 a.m. This kids worship experience allows kids to participate in praise/worship, practice giving, memorize scripture and learn Biblical principles through a teaching time.
Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action:This is a Bible based clubs for boys and girls. It is an action packed night that exposes them to the world around them. Kids are taught about missions through the eyes and experiences of a missionary. They have opportunities to be involved in projects, prayer and various forms of communication with missionaries all around the world. Both groups have a week long getaway camp (retreat) in grades 4, 5, & 6 at Windermere Baptist Assembly.
S.W.I.M. – Summer Work In Missions: Each Wednesday evening during the summer months we change gears and involve children in mission study and camp craft activities, but to go out and do for others. This is for children grades 1-6.
Summer Activities! What a way for your child to spend the summer! It is a valuable experience your child will long remember as we encourage them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ while making and building relationships with friends. These memories will last longer than just one summer.
