Dennis graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Southwest Baptist University in 1974.  He earned the Master of Church Music degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dennis has been married to Beverly (Vincent) Goskie for 32 years.  They have three grown daughters and four grandchildren.  He was ordained to the gospel ministry by First Baptist Church, Jackson, Missouri.

He has served as a conference leader and director of premiers for the Southern Baptist Convention Church Music Week at the Glorietta Conference Center.  He has published articles for Let's Worship magazine, Lifeway Christian Resources.  A skilled musician and conductor, Dennis has been described by members of every church where he has ministered as a "gifted worship leader."

His hobbies include; fishing, golf, working on cars and gardening.
