David Martin was born April 13, 1972.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, Missouri, in 1993.  He received a Master of Arts in Religious Education and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, in 1998.

David and his wife Penni were married June 6, 1992 and have been blessed with four children.  Meghan is 12, Mallory is 9, Seth is 8, and Sophia is 3.

David was licensed to the ministry in 1989 by First Baptist Church, Wentzville, Missouri, and was ordained in 1996 by Rhea's Mill Baptist Church, McKinney, Texas.

He has been responsible for coordinating and leading discipleship ministries, leadership training, and educational programs; coordinating major events such as mission trips, ski trips and youth camps; supervising and training youth interns; planning activities for youth fellowships and for reaching unchurched youth; and starting AWANA programs.
